Our lovely images are custom printed from all-digital files, precisely replicating the artist's original work. All of the prints are digitally produced by state of the art, giclee (zhee-clay) printing technology. The characteristics of this process are true continuous tones, greater detail in shadings, sharper images, and vibrant colors which are accurate to the artist's original painting. This process also allows us to offer each canvas reproduction in several sizes, to best decorate your space.

Each image on canvas is custom made to your order. All pictures are carefully packaged, boxed and shipped by UPS ground.  With no glass to break, our framed canvases are safer to ship than glazed pictures ... and without the added weight of glass, they are easier for you to lift, to move around, and to hang. Because every colorful giclee reproduction is custom made to order, your order will take from two to four weeks to produce and frame.

To protect the finished canvas from the harmful ultra-violet effects of sunlight, each oil reproduction is coated with a thin UV protective film. Only solvent-based inks are used to assure that the colors will be long lasting.

When you click on one of the six thumbnail images from a gallery page, the next screen that you view will display that image enlarged, and the frame corner samples. Simply select any frame by clicking on it.

Better frame detail will then be available by clicking on the "Enlarge Corner View" icon.

Our favorite frame selection for each canvas can be viewed by clicking "Designer's Suggestion".

When you have chosen a frame that you like, click on the 'size' icon. Click on a size, and see the price of that size framed canvas. If you wish to save it, click the "Add To Cart" button. This will temporarily store the framed canvas in your shopping cart (you can change or remove it anytime).

To purchase it, click the "Check Out" button to move to the Secured Check Out page. Your order and payment information will all be encrypted for security. If you wish to pay by phone instead, please call (314) 843-7310, with your shopping cart information and credit card handy.

Most of our frames are handmade in-house to order, and others are imported, and framed to your order. We feature reproduction Prendergast frames, Louis XIV and Louis XV styles, carved Auricular styles, Palladian corner style frames, Scotia frames, and frames from the Baroque/Rococo periods. All are solid wood with compo or genuine veneer, or, they are made from proprietary molds and are wood backed.

All of our work is guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. Simply return any piece within 15 days of receipt for a full refund or free replacement. However, ARTonCANVAS.com is not responsible for return freight fees.
